Use a Roadmap action in a Playbook Run to review suggested Initiatives and Goals before adding them to a client’s roadmap. You can finish the review after the additions are recorded, or without adding anything when there is nothing to apply.
Review the proposed changes
- Open the client’s Playbooks → Playbook Runs and select the Run. Open the Roadmap action when it is ready. The drawer is labeled Initiative set review.
- Review the suggested Initiatives. Clear the checkbox for any Initiative you want to leave out.
- For each selected Initiative, check the Owner and Quarter. Choose a person or client-team role and confirm the client’s fiscal quarter, or leave it Unscheduled.
- Review the separate Goals list. When you apply the selection, the listed Goals are included. Owner and target-quarter controls apply to Initiatives.
Preview and add items to the roadmap
- Select Preview selection. Resolve any blockers and check the proposed owners and quarters.
- Select Add to roadmap. If the proposal changes before you confirm, review it again. Creating new items requires an active Run, permission to update Runs, and permission to create the corresponding Initiatives or Goals.
- Check the results. If an item fails, review the reason and retry it when the option is available. Wait for pending creation results before completing the review.
Check the selected Initiative, its owner and quarter, and the listed Goal before adding them.
Complete the review
- When the review is ready to finish, select Complete review. If there are no items to apply, you can finish without making changes.
- Add a note if you want to record your decision, then select Complete review in the confirmation.
- Check that the drawer shows Review complete. You can open the created items from the completed review.
The completed review records the additions and your note.
