Using Insights in the New UI

Use Insights to review affected assets and prioritize client follow-up. Select All clients to work across accessible clients, or select one client for a client-scoped review.

Open and filter Insights

  1. Open Discover > Insights.
  2. Search for an Insight or use the available filters.
  3. To include Insights with no affected assets, open Display and turn off Hide all clear insights. You can also filter Affected > All clear.

Inspect current and forecasted assets

Open an Insight to review its details in the side panel. For hardware Insights, Affected now lists assets currently affected; Forecasted lists assets projected to be affected in the selected timeline. Review the timeline and Include already affected assets setting before interpreting the forecast.

The affected-asset count and an Insight’s trend are separate from a client’s Digital Maturity Index (DMI). An all-clear result applies to that Insight and available data; it does not establish that every client risk has been resolved.

Sort and export

Select the Client column heading to sort the asset list by client. Select Download to export the current tab as CSV, with Asset, Client, Model and Serial columns. A forecast export uses the selected timeline and Include already affected assets setting.

See Opening Insights in the Hardware console (New UI) for Hardware-table filtering, forecast semantics and export limits, or Creating insights (New UI) for custom definitions and permissions.

Review Windows 11 upgrade readiness

  1. Select All clients or the client you want to review, then open Discover > Insights.
  2. Open Filter > Category and select Windows 11 upgrades. If the entries are hidden because no assets are affected, open Display and turn off Hide all clear insights.
  3. Open Windows 11 compatible to review workstations that may be eligible for an upgrade. Review Processor not Windows 11 compatible, Storage not Windows 11 compatible, Memory not Windows 11 compatible, and Age not Windows 11 compatible for the corresponding planning risks.
  4. Review the Insight details and affected assets. Use Download when the affected-asset table is available to export the current tab.

These Insights are planning aids based on the available integration data; they do not guarantee that a device meets every Windows 11 installation requirement. Check the device and the operating-system requirements before planning an upgrade or replacement.

To build a hardware list directly, use Manage > Hardware > Filter and the Windows 11 CPU Compatibility filter. See About the Global Hardware console for the remaining filters and export options.
