Multi-tenant access lets you use one ScalePad sign-in to work in more than one ScalePad account. Each account has its own clients, product access, and user permissions.
Join another account
- An administrator in the account invites you using the email address already associated with your ScalePad user.
- Open the invitation email and follow the link. Sign in with that same ScalePad user if prompted.
- Review the account invitation and accept it. Your access to the new account starts after acceptance.
You do not need to create another login or use a different email address. An invitation does not copy your roles or product access from another account; the inviting administrator assigns access in the new account.
Switch accounts
- Open the account menu. In the new Lifecycle Manager UI, click the account name in the upper left.
- Choose Select Account, then select the account you want to work in.
- Check the account name before viewing clients or changing settings.
You can switch between accounts you have accepted access to without signing out. Selecting a client changes the client you are viewing inside the current account; selecting an account changes the entire workspace.
Manage access in each account
Administrators manage membership and permissions for their own account. Being an administrator in one account does not automatically make you an administrator in another. Product access, Lifecycle Manager permissions, and client access are assigned separately in each account.
Removing a member from one account removes that membership and its product access. Their memberships in other accounts remain. Removing the user's last membership removes the ScalePad user.
If an account is missing
- Confirm that the invitation was sent to the email address you use to sign in.
- Accept the invitation from the email link. A pending invitation is not yet active account access.
- Ask that account's administrator to confirm your membership and product permissions.
