ScalePad CS (Lifecycle Manager X) and Lifecycle Manager Pro partners

  • Will my bill or contract change when my account moves over from Lifecycle Manager X to ScalePad CS?

Your invoice line items will change, but your total spend stays the same at the time of the move. Your existing term and pricing protections remain in place for the current term.

  • I'm on an LMX plan. What does this mean for me?

You will be migrated to ScalePad CS plan and you will access all existing LMX features including SaaS Manager. Your SaaS Manager license count is based on the endpoints you're already managing. We take your number of deployed endpoints and double it and then round it up to the nearest 250, so you have plenty of room to cover the users and accounts you're tracking. If you have 50 or more devices deployed, the count matches your synced assets, rounded up to the nearest 500 and capped at 5,000. Please note, there will be no changes to your data, integrations or existing workflows.

  • I'm on an LM Pro (asset-based) plan. What does this mean for me?

Instead of being billed per hardware asset, you will be billed per client instead. This means you can add unlimited hardware assets without your bill jumping. You will receive one license per client currently in your account, plus 10% extra rounded to the nearest 5 as a buffer.

  • I'm on an LM Pro (clients-based) plan. What does this mean for me?

If you're already using SaaS Manager, your license count is based on the endpoints you're already managing. We take your number of deployed endpoints and double it and then round it up to the nearest 250, so you have plenty of room to cover the users and accounts you're currently tracking. If you have 50 or more devices deployed, the count matches your synced assets, rounded up to the nearest 500 and capped at 5,000. If you did not have any deployed endpoints, you will get 250 endpoints for free to start using SaaS Manager.

Lifecycle Insights partners

  • How is ScalePad CS different from Lifecycle Insights?

Lifecycle Insights helps you review what happened. ScalePad CS keeps the asset, warranty and risk reporting you rely on, and adds tools to plan what happens next: monthly budgets, living roadmaps and initiatives, assessments, meetings, deliverables and Client IQ.

  • Is ScalePad Copilot included?

Yes. Copilot is included on every plan and works with the data from the products you use.

  • Can I keep using Lifecycle Insights while I get set up?

Yes. You can keep using Lifecycle Insights while your team gets comfortable in ScalePad CS.

  • Do I have to move everything at once?

Many partners start with one client's QBR process, refine it in ScalePad CS, then move the rest of their clients.

  • Will I lose my data?

Migrating copies your information into ScalePad CS, and your originals stay in Lifecycle Insights.

  • What can I bring over?
    • Assessment templates
    • Assessment events
    • Recommendation templates, which become initiative templates
    • Recommendations, which become initiatives
    • Manually created contracts
    • Business reviews, which become meetings
    • Hardware custom fields and comments
    • Custom Hardware Types

  • How do I migrate my information?

Log in to Lifecycle Insights with an admin account and open the Data Migration tile in Account Settings. You'll need admin permissions in both Lifecycle Insights and ScalePad CS. Step-by-step help articles cover each type of data.

  • Will my integrations carry over?

You'll connect your integrations in ScalePad CS as part of setup. Our help center has a guide to the ideal integration setup.

  • Will my team need to be retrained?

Not from scratch. ScalePad CS keeps the reporting your team already knows. Free workshops, short videos and Academy courses cover what's new.

  • Are there live workshops?

Yes. We will have product experts to provide live walkthroughs for Lifecycle Insights partners. Register on the ScalePad CS resource page, and catch recordings there if you miss a session.

  • What training is available?

The free ScalePad CS Onboarding path in ScalePad Academy takes about three hours. There are also help center guides and short education videos, available at the end of November.

SaaS Manager

  • Do I need a separate tool or login?

If you're already a ScalePad CS partner, SaaS Manager works natively within the platform. If you do not have a ScalePad CS plan, you can always purchase this tool separately. For more details, learn more here.

  • Can I limit what's collected for a client or device?

Yes. Set a collection mode at the client or device level: full collection (default), device data only, or paused with the agent still installed.

  • How soon will I see data?

Within 24 hours of deploying the agent, you get a picture of the applications running on a client's devices.

Playbooks

  • Can I start a client partway through a program?

Yes. Start from any step, for example for a client who already had their kickoff, without pretending earlier work happened.

  • Who gets assigned the work?

Assign each step to a specific person or a client-team role. Roles resolve to whoever holds that role when the work is created, so team changes automatically apply to future work.

  • Will a Playbook ever change or delete existing work?

Published Playbooks will not change behind your back, and running programs aren't affected by later edits. Existing work is never altered or deleted.

  • Can I pause, skip or adjust a running program?

Yes. Pause, resume, skip, catch up on a missed step, create work early or change future owners at any time. You preview exactly what will be created, when and for whom before anything starts.

  • How do I get Playbooks?

Playbooks is an add-on within ScalePad CS. Talk to your account manager to add it to your subscription.

CSAT

  • Is there an extra cost for the CSAT functionality?

Yes, CSAT is a separate product to be purchased, irrespective of which plan you're currently on. The cost is $2 per client with a minimum of 50 clients. It's sold as its own product, separate from ScalePad CS, though it works seamlessly with the ScalePad CS platform.

  • Where do I find CSAT results in the platform?

It shows up as a "CSAT" tile inside Deliverables for client-ready reporting, and as its own CSAT section for building and sending survey campaigns and viewing trends globally or per client.

  • Can clients unsubscribe from survey emails?

Yes. Every campaign email includes an unsubscribe link that works without a login. It takes effect immediately across all future campaigns from your account.

  • Can I export results?

Yes. CSAT results can be exported, and every response stays readable on the client's record, with breakdowns by client and technician.
