Client list
The summary cards show your client count and available licenses. The license types and counts shown depend on your account’s plan, including X and Pro where applicable.
The table lists each client’s name, segment, access group, license, source, and account team. Use the available column headings to sort the list.
You can change a client's segment, access group, or account team directly in the table without opening the client. Changes save as soon as you make them:
-
Segment
Click the client's segment and choose a new one, or choose No segment to clear it. -
Access Group
Click the client's access group and choose a new one, or choose Unassigned to clear it. -
Account team
Click the client's account team to open a searchable list of team members. Click a name to add or remove that person, or click Clear assignments to remove everyone. The changes you can make depend on your account team permissions.
Filtering the client list
Use the search bar to search for a specific client by name. The Filter button allows you to filter the entire list by:

Use the team assignment control to add a member. Select a member’s role to change their responsibility, or use their remove control to unassign them from this client. The available actions depend on your permissions.
Bulk editing clients
Select the checkbox next to one or more clients to open the Bulk options bar at the bottom of the screen. The bar shows how many clients you've selected, along with options to edit them all at once:
- Merge clients: Merge the selected clients into another client. See Merging clients.
- Edit segment: Assign the selected clients to a segment.
- Edit access group: Assign the selected clients to an Access Group.
- Edit account team: Assign account team members to the selected clients.
- Edit fiscal year start: Set the fiscal year start month for the selected clients.
Merging clients
You can merge duplicate or related clients into a single client from this page:
- Click the actions menu (⋮) in a client's row, or next to the client's name in its details drawer, and click Merge client.
- To merge several clients at once, select them and click Merge clients in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
Choose the Destination client to keep, then click Merge. The client's details drawer shows a Merged clients section listing every client merged into it, where you can also unmerge a client.
Find clients by source
The clients table includes a Source column showing where each client originated. Use the Source filter to narrow the list to clients from a particular integration or source, then combine it with other client filters as needed.
Primary account-team roles
Go to Settings > Clients > Team Roles to choose which roles are primary. Active people assigned one of those roles are the client’s Account Owners. A role describes client responsibility; it does not grant application permissions. A client can have several primary-role members or none.
Currency number-format overrides
Clients inherit the account’s currency number format while Client Overrides is off. With Client Overrides on, configure that client’s regional settings, including its currency number format. Changing the account default does not replace an enabled client override.
Unmerge several linked clients
- Open the destination client’s details and expand Merged clients.
- Select the linked clients you want to separate and choose the unmerge action.
- Review the selected clients and confirm the operation.
- Allow background processing to finish, then refresh and review the resulting clients and their source associations.
You need permission to update client settings and access to the affected clients. If a linked client has the same name as the visible destination and no actionable unmerge control, give the visible client a distinct name before trying again. Unmerging does not provide a way to move Lifecycle Manager X data between clients. Review the resulting records before applying further mapping changes.
