Adding and configuring Deliverables sections

Deliverables consist of sections focusing on specific areas of a client's environment, plans, or performance. This article explains how to manage those sections after a Deliverable is created: sections can be added, removed, reordered, and configured to control the data shown in each one.

To learn more about what each section is for, see About Deliverables.

What you'll need:

  • Deliverable sections are available according to the client's Lifecycle Manager plan. Hardware is available with Essentials; Contacts, M365 Users & Licenses, and Software are available with Pro; advanced section groups require Lifecycle Manager X.

Accessing a Deliverable's sections

  1. Open the client's Deliverables page. (Client picker > client name > Engage > Deliverables)
  2. Click the name of the Deliverable you want to edit.

The Deliverable opens with a Sections panel on the left, listing every section already included. Click + Add Section in this panel to add a new one.

Note: A published Deliverable can't be edited. If the Deliverable you want to change is already published, unpublish it, make your changes, then publish it again. For more on Draft and Published states, see Presenting and sharing a Deliverable.

Adding sections

  1. Click + Add Section in the Sections panel.
  2. Review the available sections, then click the one you want to add. Sections already included in the Deliverable are greyed out and can't be added again. Sections that need an integration you haven't connected show a note that the vendor integration isn't set up.

The section is added immediately and appears in the Sections panel.

Removing sections

  1. In the Sections panel, click the overflow menu (...) beside the section you want to remove.
  2. Click Remove.
  3. Confirm by clicking Yes, Remove in the pop-up. This can't be undone.

Removing a section hides it from presentation mode and the PDF. The section can be added back at any time using + Add Section, though any configuration or content you'd added to it is gone and starts fresh.

Reordering sections

  1. In the Sections panel, click and drag a section to a new position.
  2. Release to drop it into place.

Alternatively, click the overflow menu (...) beside a section name and choose Move up or Move down.

The new order appears in both presentation mode and PDF exports.

Configuring individual sections

  1. Click a section's settings (gear) icon.
  2. Adjust the available content toggles, such as which data points to show or hide.
  3. For sections with tables, choose and reorder the columns shown.
  4. Under PDF options, choose whether to include a cover page or executive summary when the section is exported.

Changes save automatically as you make them, and update both presentation mode and PDF exports.

Arranging Overview, Goals and Roadmap sections

In the Overview, Goals and Roadmap sections, you can rearrange, resize and hide the individual widgets that make up the section. The layout you set is used when you present the Deliverable, share it using a secure link, and export it as a PDF.

  1. Click Edit layout at the top of the section.

  2. Make your changes:
    • Rearrange - Drag a widget by its handle to a new position. To change which widgets share a row, click a widget's arrange icon and choose Place beside previous widget, Place beside next widget, or Move to own row.
    • Resize - Drag the right edge of a widget to make it wider or narrower. Each widget shows its width out of 12 columns (for example, 6/12 is half the width of the section).
    • Hide - Click the hide (eye) icon on a widget. To show a hidden widget again, click Add widget and select it.
  3. Click Done when you're finished.

Layout changes save automatically.

Note: If Edit layout doesn't appear on one of these sections in an older Deliverable, click the section's overflow menu (...) and select Refresh data.

Software reporting

Add the Software section to a Pro client's Deliverable to show software support status, category breakdowns, and product details alongside your other client reports.

  1. Click + Add Section and choose Software.
  2. Open the section settings and edit Section Title if needed.
  3. Under PDF Report, turn Include per-product pages in PDF on for detailed product pages, or off for a shorter report.
  4. Set the section's PDF options. Changes save automatically.

Goals and Roadmap display options

In Goals section settings, use Include initiatives to show or hide the initiatives linked to goals.

In Roadmap section settings, sort initiatives by newest, priority, or target date. Choose status or quarter for board grouping. The selected sort also applies to the PDF.

Roadmap and Overview periods use the client's fiscal calendar. Review the client's fiscal-year setting if quarter or year labels differ from your account defaults.

Section titles and PDF headings

Configure the section title, visible content, filters, and PDF options in the section settings. Hardware section shown.

Where available, edit Section Title to rename the section. Integration report settings can also provide a report heading and display toggles. Saved display and heading choices apply to presentation and PDF output for the relevant report.

M365 Users & Licenses

Add the M365 Users & Licenses section to present Microsoft 365 adoption and licensing information. Summary cards show Microsoft 365 Users, MFA Enabled, Licenses Utilized, and Available Licenses.

Configuring Contacts MFA widgets

In the Contacts section settings, use Show MFA protected widget and Show MFA review needed widget to control the two MFA summary widgets independently. These settings affect presentation mode and PDF exports.

Adding a Custom deliverable section

Add a Custom section from the Sections panel to include freeform content you write or upload yourself, rather than data pulled from Lifecycle Manager:

  • Rich Text - add custom text to the Deliverable
  • PDF - upload a PDF to the Deliverable. Password-protected PDFs can't be used in Deliverables.
  • Image - upload an image to the Deliverable

You can add more than one Custom section to a Deliverable by using + Add Section again for each one. Custom sections can be edited and rearranged after they're added, the same as any other section.

Use Phin results in Deliverables

After connecting and syncing Phin, add its security-awareness section to a Risk Management Deliverable. The report includes training completion, phishing click and reporting rates, users to watch, and active campaigns.

For report setup, display options, and unavailable-data troubleshooting, see About the Phin Security Awareness Deliverable report.

Configure Service Quality ticket distribution

  1. Add or open the Service Quality section.
  2. Open its settings and choose the reporting period and PSA boards to include.
  3. Review Tickets by Board alongside the other selected service metrics. It groups tickets created in the reporting period after the saved board filter.
  4. Review the section in the presentation and PDF before sharing.

The chart highlights the largest boards and groups the remaining boards for readability. Tickets without a known board remain identifiable as unknown. An older saved report may need a data refresh before the chart is available. Saved display choices apply to the presentation and PDF.

Configure security-awareness integration reports

Connect the vendor first and review the client mapping. In a Risk Management section, enable the relevant security-awareness component and open its settings to choose the available summary, training, phishing and vendor-specific panels. Refresh the section, review the data, and publish only when the report is ready for the client.

Symbol Security

Choose whether to show the Summary, Users to watch list, Training, Phishing outcomes, and Threat monitoring. Example shown with mock data.

Use Users to watch to show up to ten active users rated High Risk or Poor, with High Risk first and a count for additional users. Turn the panel on or off in the Symbol component’s settings. Existing reports saved before this option was introduced keep it hidden until you enable it; newly added sections show it by default.

Users to watch names people in a client-facing report. Review the audience before sharing. Threat-monitoring panels are separate and depend on the services enabled in Symbol. The report’s presentation and PDF use the saved configuration; an unavailable value is not a zero. Review the integration setup article if client or vendor data is missing.

INFIMA

Choose INFIMA’s Summary, Training, Phishing outcomes, Dark web, and PDF options. Example shown with mock data.
Choose INFIMA’s Summary, Training, Phishing outcomes, Dark web, and PDF options. Example shown with mock data.

Use its summary, training, phishing and optional dark-web panels to review awareness posture. An overall risk score is shown only for a single linked INFIMA client; multi-client totals do not combine vendor grades into a new grade. Dark-web figures require monitoring to be enabled in INFIMA. Refresh older report data to obtain newly supported panels.
