ScalePad Copilot is an AI assistant built directly into ScalePad, available to partners on all plans.
It works with your data and helps you act on it through a simple conversation. Copilot asks for your confirmation before making any changes, so you're always in control.

ScalePad Copilot is in Open Beta
You might notice occasional changes as we continue to refine this feature.

What Copilot can do

Copilot can help you with anything you want to do in Lifecycle Manager, from answering questions about your clients to making changes across your client accounts. Here are some examples:

  • Summarizing a client's context, risks, and next best steps.
  • Evaluating a roadmap for priorities and timing gaps.
  • Surfacing unscheduled initiatives.
  • Turning meeting notes into follow-up actions.

It can also handle multi-step tasks as part of a single request, asking for your confirmation before each action. This ensures you're always in control of any action that Copilot can take.

How to use Copilot

Copilot works like a conversation. You ask it something in plain language and it responds with relevant insights or suggested actions. When an action is involved, Copilot shows you what it plans to do and asks you to confirm before making any changes.

Open Copilot

To open the Copilot chat panel, click the ScalePad Copilot button.

Start a conversation

When Copilot opens, you'll see a set of suggested prompts to help you get started. You can select one of these, or type your own request in the text box. Plain language works fine. For example, you could ask it: "Find clients with aging workstations and propose next steps."

Copilot can use the context of the page you're on, so you don't always need to specify a client or section in your prompt.

Once you submit your request, Copilot begins processing the task. You'll see it working through the request before it returns a response.

Note: Copilot only works with data from your ScalePad environment. It can't access external information outside of ScalePad.

Review the response

Copilot returns a response based on available data. This might be a client summary, a roadmap evaluation, a list of unscheduled initiatives, or suggested next steps. Read through the response before acting on it.

Confirm any actions

When you ask Copilot to do something, such as creating an initiative or scheduling a meeting, it shows you what it plans to do before completing the action. Nothing is saved or changed until you confirm.
