Asset information within the Hardware console can be saved and shared internally and externally. Additional filters enable the hardware console to be more powerful, which increases the value of the presented information.

When you create configurations for specific needs, such as Windows 11 updates, hardware modernization, or warranty renewals, we recommend you export these configurations so that they can be shared easily.

Generally, as long as you have added an RMM integration to Lifecycle Manager, the Processor Manufacturer, Processor Model; Memory (GB); and Total Storage (GB) asset information is available in the downloaded spreadsheet.

Download a hardware report with visible columns

By choosing select columns, you can construct and export custom configurations of the information that is most relevant to you or others at that moment.

  1. Set up your filters as desired

  2. Click the Spreadsheet button on the right-hand side of the screen

  3. Under These results with visible columns, select from either option:

    1. CSV file - A csv export is the only option if the export has more than 5000 assets.

    2. Excel spreadsheet - There is a limit of up to 5000 assets for an Excel spreadsheet export

Download a hardware report with all columns

You can take all available data offline by downloading your filtered view into a spreadsheet. To do this:

  1. Click the Spreadsheet button on the right-hand side of the screen

  2. Under These results with all available columns, select from either option:

    1. CSV file - A csv export is the only option if the export has more than 5000 assets.

    2. Excel spreadsheet - There is a limit of up to 5000 assets for an Excel spreadsheet export

Download a legacy hardware report

If you had previously set up per-client hardware replacement standards, you can download a legacy hardware console export to continue to see whether those clients’ devices are compliant with hardware replacement standards or not.

Note that the legacy export doesn't use customized filters or columns

  1. Click the Spreadsheet button on the right-hand side of the screen

  2. Under Download the previous Hardware export, select:

    1. Excel spreadsheet

In the same way, if you are also working on a project or a very specific task, you are able to export information and share it with others.
