You can quickly reference details of an Initiative from the Roadmap without interrupting your workflow by placing your pointing device over the Initiative details and pressing Click to preview.

Quick view a full Initiative from the Roadmap display

A quick view Initiative displays details that include a read-only executive summary, the assigned quarter, Investment line items, and included assets.

Available actions in quick view mode

An initiative has several actions that can be performed while in quick view mode which include: entering full edit mode, setting the initiative's priority, setting the approval status, deleting the Initiative, or unscheduling the Initiative from the roadmap.

A quick view Initiative displays details that include a read-only executive summary, the assigned quarter, Investment line items, and included assets by quarter.

Assets rolled into the next year are identified by the calendar toggle. In the following example, 32 additional assets are indicated to be actioned on in 2023.

Clicking directly into an Initiative quarterly breakdown from the Roadmap displays only assets that are to be actioned on the assigned quarter. Contents of individual quarters include:

  • Assigned quarter and estimated budget line items

  • Managed assets by quarter

Edit individual quarters of an Initiative

An individual initiative quarter has several actions that can be performed while in quick view mode.

  1. Re-assign quarter

  2. enter full edit mode

  3. Edit/modify existing budget line items

  4. Move individual assets to other quarters (only applies if Initiative assets are distributed over multiple quarters)

  5. Remove assets
